Indonesia Explores Visa-Free Travel: Welcoming Tourists from 20 Nations for Economic Boost!

Indonesia Visa Free For Indians

Indonesia is thinking about letting people from 20 countries visit without needing a visa. These countries include the United States, China, Australia, India, South Korea, Germany, Britain, and France. The goal is to help the tourism industry and boost the economy, as shared by the tourism minister on Thursday.

The government is still deciding which countries will be on the list. The president wants to do this to improve the economy, attract more tourists, and encourage investments.

Before the pandemic in 2019, Indonesia had over 16 million visitors from other countries. This year, from January to October, they’ve already had 9.49 million visitors, which is a big increase compared to the same time last year.

Indonesia joins other countries in Southeast Asia like Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia, who are also thinking about not requiring visas for visitors from China, a country where many people like to travel.
